God used you to help Susan overcome her struggles and fears—and discover the love of God.

For years, Susan felt anxious and overwhelmed. Nothing seemed to work out for her. After hearing one of our Gospel spots on television, she called and asked one of our associates, “Why doesn’t God love me?” She explained her ongoing struggles with loneliness and wondered why God has not answered her prayers. Our associate asked Susan if she had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There was silence.

With compassion, our team member shared the Gospel with Susan, answering her questions and concerns using Scripture. As the conversation continued, Susan’s heart slowly opened to understand the truth of God’s love. As the Holy Spirit worked, Susan prayed in repentance and faith to follow Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Before ending the conversation, our associate encouraged Susan to grow in her faith by reading God’s Word daily, finding a local Bible-teaching church, and developing friendships with other Christians. To help her mature spiritually, we sent Susan a Bible and suggested that she begin reading the book of John.
